1. Acceptance of terms
By creating a chat, joining a chat, or creating an account on SHHHHHHH ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
SHHHHHHH is intended for adults 18 years of age or older. By using the Service you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. The anonymous chat model
SHHHHHHH lets you create private, link-based conversations. Participants are anonymous by default within each conversation. Identity reveal is always voluntary and never automatic. Each conversation has its own independent anonymous identity - these identities are not linked across conversations in the product UI.
4. Lost chat links
If you lose a chat link and have not saved the conversation to an account, you may permanently lose access to that conversation. This is expected behavior, not a malfunction.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse others
- Share illegal content or exploit minors
- Spam, scam, or impersonate others
- Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or moderation
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service
6. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. We may suspend or ban accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Content
You retain rights to content you send. You grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to operate the Service, including moderation and abuse prevention.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee complete anonymity against all technical or legal processes. We may process limited technical information for security and abuse prevention as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SHHHHHHH is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
